Titus-8 Months

Love this one. We have a picture of Jeremy's dad handing him the key to the orange truck...

Titus
-loves music and dancing
-is very popular in the nursery
-has declared himself a self-feeder (Our baby food days are very numbered!)
-loves graham crackers
-can crawl a bit, but still prefers to "army" crawl
-is into EVERYTHING
-hasn't been sleeping very good (has been waking up for a 4:45 feeding for about 3 weeks)
-likes to stand and play, but can't pull himself up yet
-has started giggling more & is ticklish
-likes riding in the backpack
-is tired of hearing how huge he is (wait maybe that is me...)
-loves to snuggle with Mommy

Cousins Playdate

My kids don't have any "true" cousins yet. But, they sure do love Lilly & Elise just as much. They are my cousin, Jamie, & his wife Kara's girls. And I'm so glad because I always enjoy visiting with Kara just as much. Jamie has been traveling to Europe for his work so they have been visiting. We had a great play date at Mom-o & Pop-o's house complete with dress up, PBS, a picnic, & the park.

My girls were so sad to leave we promised them we would see them in 4 weeks when they visit again. Grace reminds me constantly, "I get to see my cousin Lilly in 4 weeks!"

Block Fest

I am a huge supporter of a program we have here called Parents as Teachers. I know I've mentioned that before. Recently we went to a special event they had called, Block Fest. It was a special traveling exhibit with 5 types of blocks for the kids to check out and play with. They got to spend 10 minutes with each type. They girls loved it and it inspired me to make blocks a bigger part of our toy arsenal. So, we are hoping for a nice wood set & I am going to make them a jumbo set similar to the "brick ones" in these photos out of small cardboard boxes covered in colored duct tape (shhh, its a surprise probably for Christmas or Grace's birthday)

Thanks PAT we totally heart you!
