Our family was excited to once again be able to be involved with Trunk or Treat. (Remember last year I had H1N1- not fun!) We borrowed the big orange truck for our family's "trunk." We had an Illini theme (in Missouri that is considered creative or at least different) Our van was actually loaned to another family in order to be decorated like a Dalmatian. Jeremy, Titus, & I wore our Illini gear. The girls choose to wear their cowgirl costumes. It was a VERY cold night!!!

Trunk or Treat
Holst Halloween Party
Every year at Halloween Grandma Holst hosts a Halloween party. It has been several years since we have been able to go. This year it worked out for us to attend which also meant I had my Mom available to take these amazing pics of my kids in their costumes.

"Trick or Treating" at Grandma's door.
Faith watching for Uncle Cody to arrive.
Titus eats...I means opens his Halloween bucket.
Papa helps Faith open her surprises.
My grandma has been making homemade salsa, pizza, & spaghetti sauce with tomatoes from the farm. I got to choose some to take home for our family. This was my favorite part! I LOVED the black bean and corn salsa.Leaf Raking
The Saturday before Halloween Grandpa Rick came for the day. We raked leaves in our yard for burning and the guys also built shelves for the shed in our backyard. Grandpa treated us to pizza for lunch. It was a beautiful fall day- wish the leaves in our yard were colorful but.....these pics are still cute.
