The Zoo (w/ Less Heat)

Early in the summer we went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was a good trip, but VERY hot. Titus was still nursing often and we just didn't get to see all the animals Grace was hoping to. So, I promised the girls we would try to go back in the fall- and we did! Nana, Jessica, Carter, and Ellee came and spent the night and then came along too. It was much more enjoyable weather. Although the zoo was under some construction so that did make navigating a bit more complicated.

We arrived just in time for the penguin feeding and zoo keeper chat.
There were no hippos-bummer. But, this is a decent picture for little people.
Checking out the rhinos.
Look how much Titus has grown!

Love this one of Nana & Faith
This visit Grace loved following the footprints- she was so busy following the path we had to convince her to stop and enjoy the animals.
Daddy, can you get this bug?
This is where the sea lions normally are-right in the middle of the zoo.

This baby camel was only 6 days old when we went last time look how it has grown too!

So wish Ellee's eyes were open...this one would be really good.

Nana let Grace have her own map and she was very concerned with being the navigator!

And we got to see an alligator-Grace still remembered we didn't get to see one last time! It was a long day, but I do love the zoo.

Feeding the Ducks

Recently our play group went to the park to play & feed the ducks. The girls always enjoy feeding the ducks and had a great time!
Love this one.

This is one of Grace & Faith's friends Ava and her baby sister Ella.

Grace needed a snack-I guess.
The ducks weren't starving but they got plenty of bread anyway!

Titus-8 Months

Love this one. We have a picture of Jeremy's dad handing him the key to the orange truck...

Titus
-loves music and dancing
-is very popular in the nursery
-has declared himself a self-feeder (Our baby food days are very numbered!)

-likes to stand and play, but can't pull himself up yet
-has started giggling more & is ticklish
-likes riding in the backpack
-is tired of hearing how huge he is (wait maybe that is me...)
-loves to snuggle with Mommy

Cousins Playdate

My kids don't have any "true" cousins yet. But, they sure do love Lilly & Elise just as much. They are my cousin, Jamie, & his wife Kara's girls. And I'm so glad because I always enjoy visiting with Kara just as much. Jamie has been traveling to Europe for his work so they have been visiting. We had a great play date at Mom-o & Pop-o's house complete with dress up, PBS, a picnic, & the park.

My girls were so sad to leave we promised them we would see them in 4 weeks when they visit again. Grace reminds me constantly, "I get to see my cousin Lilly in 4 weeks!"
