Early in the summer we went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was a good trip, but VERY hot. Titus was still nursing often and we just didn't get to see all the animals Grace was hoping to. So, I promised the girls we would try to go back in the fall- and we did! Nana, Jessica, Carter, and Ellee came and spent the night and then came along too. It was much more enjoyable weather. Although the zoo was under some construction so that did make navigating a bit more complicated.
We arrived just in time for the penguin feeding and zoo keeper chat.

There were no hippos-bummer. But, this is a decent picture for little people.

Checking out the rhinos.

Look how much Titus has
grown!

Love this one of Nana & Faith

This visit Grace loved following the footprints- she was so busy following the path we had to convince her to stop and enjoy the animals.

Daddy, can you get this bug?

This is where the sea lions normally are-right in the middle of the zoo.

This baby camel was only 6 days old when we went last time look how it has
grown too!

So wish Ellee's eyes were open...this one would be really good.

Nana let Grace have her own map and she was very concerned with being the navigator!

And we got to see an alligator-Grace still remembered we didn't get to see one last time! It was a long day, but I do love the zoo.
