Countdown to V-day.

On Valentine's day between all our deliveries the kids enjoyed opening cards from Auntie Di & Uncle Larry and a very fun package from Grandpa Rick & Grandma Leeanne.

This year for Valentine's day Gramy sent the kids home with a whole bunch of presents. They got to open one a day until they counted down to Valentine's day. They thought this was quite fun.

They insisted on doing it first thing in the morning before school.
They loved all the yummy snacks and treats they opened. Thanks Gramy & Papa!

Dr. Seuss Day @ Preschool

Part of "S" week at preschool was a fun-filled day of Dr. Seuss inspired activities. It was a party day so Titus and I got to stay to enjoy all the fun.

Dr. Seuss has SO many great books. They also picked out what they wanted to be and read "Oh, the place you will go."

The yummy snacks. Goldfish for "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish." Hat cake for "The Cat in the Hat" and mini cupcakes that looked like green eggs.
It was such a fun day. Thanks Mrs. Karen for planning such fun and creative activities for us to enjoy!!

Valentine's Day Kindergarten Party

In the middle of all the cupcake craziness I made it a priority to attend Grace's kindergarten party. I had been at all the rest and didn't want her to be disappointed. This party was much calmer then the Christmas party. (and I wasn't in charge of the game-Hooray!)

The Valentine bags- Grace's teacher had to make hers because she was gone all but one day the week before with a fever.
Her class with all their loot getting ready to head home. The party was pretty quiet. The kids didn't even open up their Valentines. They were sent home to enjoy. My favorite "treat" Grace got was a little personal bottle of hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works complete with the thing to hook it on her book bag. I thought this was a great creative idea.
You might also spot in the picture the kids got suckers with foam shapes attached. The girls had big red lips and the boys had mustaches. Another cheap and very fun treat to keep in mind for the future.
