Here is a mid-summer update on our garden.
Grace holding our first zucchini we picked. So far we have gotten 3 and I have made zucchini fries and shredded some to freeze for zucchini bread.
A bad storm passed through Hannibal on a Tuesday afternoon downing two trees next to our garden. One of them did some damage.

Our broccoli crop. I have never grown broccoli so it took a bit of research to know how to harvest it. I have learned a lot and I think I would definitely try it again. So far I have made Beef N' Broccoli and Broccoli Cheese Soup with broccoli from our garden.
The other day I was coming home from the pool with the kids and saw a bunch of these windows on the side of the road for FREE. They are awesome and I knew there were lots of cool things you can do with antique windows. So, I loaded my van full and then came back for more. :) We are going to keep at least one, but I would being willing to share my awesome find.
