Windows for Sale

The other day I was coming home from the pool with the kids and saw a bunch of these windows on the side of the road for FREE. They are awesome and I knew there were lots of cool things you can do with antique windows. So, I loaded my van full and then came back for more. :) We are going to keep at least one, but I would being willing to share my awesome find. If you are interested we are selling them for $20 a piece with all the money going towards our adoption fund. If you want to get some great ideas on how they can be used check out this website. If you are interested in purchasing one you can send me an e-mail.

Red, White, & Blue :(

Titus was the BLUE in our Red, White, & Blue photos. He wasn't super cooperative for Aunt Jo Jo...

Garden Update

Here is a mid-summer update on our garden.

Grace holding our first zucchini we picked. So far we have gotten 3 and I have made zucchini fries and shredded some to freeze for zucchini bread.
A bad storm passed through Hannibal on a Tuesday afternoon downing two trees next to our garden. One of them did some damage.
Paul's corn was hurt the worst.
Grace picking a pepper.
The two huge trees.
Grace showing our damaged garden. (love the sad face)
Our broccoli crop. I have never grown broccoli so it took a bit of research to know how to harvest it. I have learned a lot and I think I would definitely try it again. So far I have made Beef N' Broccoli and Broccoli Cheese Soup with broccoli from our garden.

We spent a lot of time helping our friends pick up tree limbs. This picture just shows a few...they were everywhere!
