Big Truck Night

Big Truck Night has become an annual fall favorite at our house. Titus was basically in heaven since his favorite activity right now it to "drive." However, he wasn't very cooperative when it came time to share a turn with others. It was a great night of free family fun.

Melissa is our Parents as Teachers Educator and has been visiting us since Grace was a baby. We always love the fun activities and ideas she brings! Thanks PAT we appreciate you.

My Lil' Food Network Stars

I love cooking with my kids (at least most of the time- there are usually some moments in the middle where I am pulling my hair out and can't wait for them to be a bit bigger) But, overall I think the investment of developing a love for cooking in them now will be totally worth it in the years to come. And I love that they love watching the Food Network with me. ;)

Titus helps make pizza.

No, no, no eating the ingredients...at least not all of them.

My newest assistants at Sweet 2 the Soul. They are loving all the extra cupcakes and icing that have been hanging around our house. I think they might be ready for Cupcake Wars by next year.

Barry Apple Festival Parade

One of the area Jeremy services is Barry, Illinois. I had heard good things about their fall Apple Festival (especially the food). So when Jeremy was asked to be in the parade for work I knew it would make a fun family day. The kids loved being in another parade and proudly wore their Reliable shirts and passed out candy.
It was a very long parade route so Faith & Titus rode the entire time. On Monday a client asked Jeremy if we had twins!

After the parade we got to choose some treats to share as a family. Grace choose apples with carmel sauce. Faith choose a HUGE basket of fries, and Jeremy choose a turtle funnel cake. It was all very yummy.
